Tender Opportunity: Provision of QC and genotyping services for patient samples from a study of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (SHORT DEADLINE)

May 11, 2012  |   Single stage - Any candidate may submit a tender. This contract is for the provision of DNA quality control and genotyping services using the Illumina Human Exome BeadChips v1.0 with custom content of 3000 additional specified markers for 5040 patient samples from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The 5040 samples will be received from up to 12 different UK institutions. The supplier must have experience of providing running high throughput projects using the Illumina Human Exome BeadChips v1.0 and be capable of running 5040 samples by 31 July 2012. The supplier will be expected to have experience of calling rare genotypes using a range of approaches. Experience of contributing high quality Human Exome BeadChips v1.0 data to a large scale consortium would be an advantage. READ MORE
