Attend the first Biomat-IN Special Interest Group (SIG)

The purpose of the SIG is to bring the biomaterials community together, highlight regional strengths, stimulate discussion, facilitate potential collaborations and review the potential for voucher applications.

Presentations will be made by leading experts in their field from across Europe and topics that will be covered will include:

- Biomaterial Functionalisation: Physical and Chemical Methods for the Design of Tailored Drug Delivery Systems

- Thin Film Functional Surfaces - Applications in Clinical Diagnostics and Tissue Culture
Biomaterials for Osteoarticular and Dental Ageing

- BioMIMedics, a EU regional Approach to the Development of New Biomedical Materials

- Smart Materials for the Creation of Viable Low-Power Temporospatial-varying Artificial Muscles

There will also be an opportunity to engage with the speakers and other delegates through planned 1-2-1 meetings.
