The UK Government’s UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) division has teamed up with the UKNSCN to advertise an open invitation to a meeting with a stem cell delegation from India which will take place in London on the afternoon of 15 March. The meeting will be held at the offices of Bristows at 100 Victoria Embankment, and their provision of complimentary meeting space is gratefully acknowledged. Six Indian stem cell companies will be presenting information on their business at the meeting as part of their four-day inward mission to the UK. The six companies are:
Reliance Life Science, Mumbai
Stempeutics, Bangalore
Life Cell, Chennai
International Stem Cells, Bangalore
LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad
Ecron Acunova, Bangalore
In addition to the above, speakers from the UK including Kevin Shakesheff (Nottingham) and Mark Lowdell (UCL) will deliver presentations on stem cell formulation/manufacture and the operation of stem cell clinical trials in the UK respectively. A third speaker will discuss the regulation of stem cell research in the UK.
