A Finnish company has developed a mobile patient information service for information collection, analysis and exchange between healthcare professionals and patients with diabetes or other chronic diseases.
The platform/service has been tested and it has been in professional use for more than 2 years between diabetics and the nursing units as part of the patients’ treatment program, and it has received very positive feedback from the patients, support groups and medical organisations. It makes a patient’s life easier, improves a patient’s motivation for treatment and intensifies the therapeutic relationship.
The service can be used by smartphones, tablets and PCs and it includes a fully interactive therapeutic interface.
The Finnish SME is searching both public and private healthcare providers who want to develop and expand their offering to mobile services. The expected type of partnership is a license agreement.
