Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a company who could develop a healthcare application/platform for android tablet and mobile phone. The device would list internet-based healthcare resources such as web pages and then monitor how long pages were being accessed for. It would need to store this data and sent to a central point.
The device would be able to send notifications to the user giving them advice and suggestions. It would have a messaging system built-in to alert users to events/opportunities.
A secure user group chat room will be built-in enabling users to share resources and their experiences.
The device would also have the potential to link to a ‘Fitbit’ like wearable devices to record physiological data, track sleep/physical activity/exercise and track changes in fitness and sleep. It would need to store this data and send to a central point.
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are bidding for test-bed funding, if they are successful in the bid then the app development company will be a delivery partner for the project.
