Nanocapsule compositions for the controlled released of agents of therapeutic interest

A Spanish research centre, in collaboration with a Spanish university, works on biomaterials. They have developed a nanocapsule composition capable of releasing agents of therapeutic interest with a controlled kinetic and a prolonged and sustainable effect over time, reducing the overall administration required.

These capsules provide a sustained release of the housed enzyme providing a therapeutic improvement in comparison to current therapies, thus decreasing the need for repeated injections or high collagenase doses.

They are looking for a company working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors. They should have the capacity to develop nanocapsules. The role will be to adapt the nanocapsules to their needs and bring it to market. The Spanish groups are looking for a license agreement, but if needed they could cooperate with the company in any further development.
