MIP Diagnostics Limited is actively commercialising the use of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) produced using their proprietary technology. The resultant MIPs (known as nano-MIPs) have excellent binding properties to target molecules, good stability, and a variety of controlled attachment chemistries are possible. They can be substituted for antibodies or other more traditional binding molecules in assay and sensor development.
MIP Diagnostics Limited is seeking a partner with a highly sensitive label-free electrochemical sensor platform to evaluate a number of nano-MIPs for sensor suitability. This could lead to a joint development programme for full commercialisation of simple to use sensors for a variety of different end-user situations.
